Course Structure

The HLTTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support course is a nationally accredited unit that equips
participants with the skills and knowledge required to respond to a variety of emergency situations. This course focuses on providing immediate, basic emergency life support, including CPR, in line with the
guidelines set by the Australian
Resuscitation Council (ARC). It is ideal
for individuals who may need to provide first aid in their workplace, community, or in everyday life.

• Recognize and respond to emergency situations.
• Perform CPR and other basic emergency life supporttechniques.
• Provide first aid for a range of injuries and illnesses.
